Funeral arrangements for Fr. Mark Beard have been announced.
A public visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Baton Rouge on Thursday, from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy with the diocesan clergy present. Priests and deacons are encouraged to wear their diocesan vestments.
Visitation for parishioners of St. Helena Church will be held at the St. Helena Parish Hall in Amite on Friday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Helena Church for family members and St. Helena Parishioners at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow at Amite Memorial Gardens.
