The Hammond Police Department is seeking information on 43 YO Jason Charles Holtgren of Hammond, who is wanted for Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Battery.
On Tuesday, at approximately 5:45 p.m., HPD responded to Oak Hollow Drive where the homeowners reported that they saw an unknown white male exiting their residence.
When confronted, the suspect fled on an ATV, hit one of the homeowners with the ATV, and proceeded into the roadway. The suspect was seen losing control of the ATV and crashing into a nearby wooded area.
Officers arrived at the location and established a perimeter within minutes. With the assistance of the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office, HPD began searching for the suspect. He was unable to be located.
They identified the suspect, Holtgren, from his ID left at the scene.
