The St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash which occurred Tuesday evening near Pearl River.
Shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, a GMC Terrain was being driven eastbound on Pine Street Extension when the driver attempted to turn left into a driveway in the 36000 block. The Terrain crossed into the path of a westbound motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency medical personnel. The body has been turned over to the St. Tammany Coroner’s Office, and the crash is still under investigation.
