Tangipahoa Parish Government has started the Comprehensive Master Plan Update process.
They would like to encourage all citizens to be a part of this planning process.
They are encouraging everyone to take a survey and attend the 1st Community Engagement Event, which will be held this Thursday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m., in the large conference room of the Clausen Building (located at 15485 W. Club Deluxe Road in Hammond).
The Tangi 2045 website is now live and they encourage everyone to take the survey. Please visit the site at www.tangi2045.com.
Meanwhile, yesterday Tangipahoa Parish Registrar of Voters Andi Matheu hosted 160 of her fellow registrars from around the state at the 78th annual Registrar’s Seminar, being held in Hammond this week. Tangi Tourism, Tangipahoa Parish Government, and some local businesses are lending a hand to help welcome delegates. Parish President Robby Miller welcomed them to the parish and thanked the Registrars for the job they do.
