The Covington Police Department is offering extra patrols to residents who are away for the holidays.
If you have left or plan on leaving for vacation, contact them directly at 985-892-8500. Let the dispatcher know you are requesting extra patrols for your residence. Please leave an address that is within the city limits of Covington and they will have officers check on your residence.
Citizens can also submit extra patrol request through the free app called “Covington PD”. To download the app go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for “Covington PD”. Once you download the app, submit a new tip directly to officers requesting extra patrols for your residence.
