On October 20, 2022, the Hammond Police Department began investigating a complaint of fraudulent credit card activity totaling $1,889.93 in purchases from Home Depot, located at 400 West Minnesota Park Road.
During the investigation, HPD detectives determined on September 30, 2022, a white male and a white female entered Home Depot to pick up items that had been ordered online with the victim’s account information.
Detectives were able to identify the female suspect from the security camera footage as 24 YO Savannah Grace Sagnibene, from the Amite and Roseland areas. Warrants were issued for her arrest for the charges of Theft and Identity Theft.
HPD detectives were seeking information on the male suspect seen with Sagnibene on the security footage they have posted on social media.
