The Postal Service in Covington is hosting a job fair to fill immediate openings for positions in delivery.
It will be Thursday, Sept. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Covington Post Office on 1775 N. Columbia St. in Covington.
Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
Hiring opportunities are available at these locations in Louisiana: Rural Carrier Associate (RCA), Salary: $19.50 per hour. RCA positions are currently open in Bogalusa, Bush, Covington, Hammond and Ponchatoula.
