The Hammond Downtown Development District says after two months of community conversations and feedback, selected mural artist, Britt Flood, has created two designs for the mural location at the soon to be open Railroad Park.
They invite the community to vote for their favorite design.
Voting is available online via survey, in-person at the DDD office (2 W Thomas St) and the Hammond Regional Arts Center (217 E Thomas St) during regular hours.
DDD staff will also host a Mural Design Open House on Thursday, April 14th from 5:30PM -6:30PM at the DDD office. Voting closes on Monday, April 18th at 11:59PM. They will announce the winning design on Tuesday, April 19th.
