Mandeville Police is praising a report that has them ranked as the second safest city in Louisiana.
They said this is a huge testament to the men and women of MPD, a city government devoted to preserving their way of life and of course the citizens of their city.
Slidell was also noted on the report, coming in a #9.
The report, compiled by Safewise, said the state has the highest property crime rate in the nation. It also said that violent crime rose by 14%, and many Louisianans are concerned about experiencing violent crime or gun violence.
