The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce’s Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament will be on Thursday, March 24, this year at Beau Chene Country Club in Mandeville.
Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for St. Tammany students planning to attend a Louisiana college or university.
Tournament registration is at 10:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.
Northshore Toyota is sponsoring a hole-in-one-contest with golfers getting a chance to win a car. Players will also enjoy putting for proof, closest to the hole, closest to the case and longest drive contests; business networking opportunities; a “to go” lunch to eat on the course and a jambalaya dinner; and knowing that proceeds will benefit local scholars.
