Long-sought improvements to Stateline Road will begin this week.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced that milling work on Stateline Road will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
Work will be concentrated on the area starting at McElveen Road and moving east along Stateline Road for five miles.
Once milling work is completed, crews will begin the overlay process. All work is weather-permitting.
Miller reminds motorists that intermittent lane closures can be expected during the construction period.
