A Metairie man who owns a Slidell area business turned himself into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on Wednesday and was booked on one count of Solicitation for Murder.
St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives conducted an investigation after receiving information that 30 YO Ahmad Slyyeh attempted to hire someone to murder his business partner.
The two owned a Slidell area business, which was the location Slyyeh met with the individual, who he attempted to hire for the murder.
That individual, however, came forward and notified the authorities and the potential victim.
Detectives conducted a thorough investigation and were able to gather enough evidence to determine Slyyeh committed the crime of which he was charged.
A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Slyyeh, and as detectives were actively searching for him, he turned himself in to the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center.
