
On the evening of Wednesday, February 2, Covington Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance, where a subject was reported pointing a firearm at multiple people.
Officers quickly responded and noticed a vehicle fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. Officers proceeded to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and after a short pursuit, officers were able to stop the vehicle.
The driver was identified as Benjamin Bobrowski.

Bobrowski was quickly identified as the subject pointing a firearm at multiple people earlier.
Upon further investigation, a shotgun was found in Bobrowski’s possession and determined to be the firearm Bobrowski was pointing at the people involved in the disturbance.
Bobrowski was ultimately charged with the following charges and placed in St Tammany Parish Jail: Two counts of Stop Sign Violation (Misdemeanor), One count of Disturbing the Peace with language (Misdemeanor), and Four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm (Felony).
