
In St. Tammany, qualifying for Slidell city elections is underway.
So far, incumbent Mayor Greg Cromer is the only candidate qualified for the mayor’s post.
Incumbent police chief Randy Fandal has a challenger in Rhett Rodriguez, who qualified on Wednesday.
William Borchert, Jr., and Glynn Pichon are running for Slidell City Council members-at-large while a number of candidates have announced their intention to run for the city’s seven single-member districts, including: Leslie Denham in District A; David Dunham in District B; Megan Spilling Haggerty and Gnanse Nelson in District C; Mark Daeumer, Nicholas Disanti, Sean Morrison, and Arriollia Vanney in District D; Kenneth Tamborella in District E; Thomas Brownfield and Kim Baronet Harbison in District F; and Patrick Burke, III, and Cindi E. King in District G.
