
From the Tangipahoa Parish School System: New Quarantine guidelines effective tomorrow.
Superintendent Stilley says there will be a change in COVID-19 Exposure Protocols.
If your child has been quarantined due to close contact (at school or home) and has NO symptoms of COVID-19, please have the child return to school tomorrow and wear a face covering in lieu of missing instructional time for the remainder of their quarantine time.
The new protocol for close contacts effective Tuesday, January 25, 2022 will be to wear a face covering for 5 consecutive days and attend school if they have NO symptoms.
Please be sure to keep your child home if they are having any of these COVID-19 like systems including: fever, chills, cough, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestions, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, or shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
Students should be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
