Three Northshore community-based COVID-19 testing and vaccination events have been canceled for today due to weather.
The events canceled for Friday are at the St. Tammany Parish Government Building at 620 N. Tyler St. in Covington, at Southeastern University Student Union for their vaccine and testing event in Hammond, and the St. Helena Environmental Health Unit vaccine and testing event at 53 N. 2nd St. in Greensburg.
Northshore public health units will offer limited testing and/or vaccinations from 12 to 3 p.m. today. These are the public health unit locations at 330 W. Oak St. in Amite, which offers testing only; 15481 W. Club Deluxe Drive in Hammond, which offers testing and vaccinations, 120 11th St. in Franklinton has testing and vaccinations; 626 Carolina Ave. in Bogalusa with testing and vaccinations and 20399 Government Blvd. in Livingston, offering testing and vaccinations.
