According to the St. Helena Parish Sherriff’s Office a teenager was killed in a shooting in Pine Grove.
According to officials the shooting occurred around 12:18 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
The St. Helena Sheriff’s office responded to a shooting on Hughes Lane where they found a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Another teenager, a cousin of the victim, was arrested and charged with the fatal shooting.
