Old Mandeville Shop Local Saturday is returning for the Fall of 2021.
The event, which is hosted by the Old Mandeville Business Association (OMBA) and its member businesses, will feature dozens of artist pop-ups, food vendors, live music and more at local businesses on Saturday, December 11th from 10AM to 4PM.
The activity will take place outside of businesses on and around Girod Street, stretching from the Mandeville Trailhead to Lakeshore Drive – about 6 city blocks.
The Old Mandeville business community joined together to host the first Shop Local Saturday in December of 2020 as a way to support local commerce and give merchants a much needed boost during the holiday season. The event was extremely well received, drawing hundreds of patrons to Old Mandeville throughout the day to eat, shop and play in a safe and socially distanced manner.
They hosted a second very successful event in April of 2021, and OMBA leaders say they now plan to host the event several times per year.
Patrons can also enjoy the City of Mandeville’s weekly food and crafts market at the Mandeville Trailhead, just off Girod Street, from 9AM-1PM on Saturday.
