The Louisiana Office of the State Fire Marshall reminds everyone that this weekend is daylight savings time.
That means when your clocks change, the batteries in your smoke alarms should be changed too.
And if your smoke alarms are 10 years old or older, it’s time to replace them.
The SFM recommends replacing old smoke alarms with devices that utilize a 10-year lithium battery that doesn’t have to be changed at all.
If you don’t have smoke alarms in your home, GET THEM TODAY.
