
The 5,000 Duck Derby to benefit Crime Stoppers will be held in Zemurray Park pond on November 6th from 11:00-3:00pm.
Duck race starts at 2:30pm.
To enter for a chance to win $2,500, $1,500 or $1,000, race goers must adopt a duck. The process is simple; go to one of the participating sponsors, complete the adoption papers, mail-in or go online to complete the payment, and then you’ve entered the derby. Duck adoptions start at $5.00 and go up to $100.
Crime Stoppers is planning all kinds of fun for the Duck Derby; Cub Scouts Pack 100 will be selling beef sticks, soda and water to benefit their club. Where Y’at Sneaux Balls will cool you down with a tasty snowball. United By BBQ will be selling pull pork sandwiches to benefit Crime Stoppers and there’ll also be a funnel cake booth as well.
