Every 10 years following the census, Louisiana undergoes a redistricting process to determine the state’s representation at a federal, state and local level due to potential population changes.
In preparation for the redistricting process, the St Tammany Chamber is hosting a webinar with Senator Sharon Hewitt, who will discuss how it works, what new districts in St. Tammany and Louisiana could look like, and what it means for local representation.
Join them on Tuesday, November 2, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for “Redistricting: How It Will Affect You” and learn why it is vitally important to engage in this process.
Citizens only get this opportunity once every 10 years.
