The STEAM Division at Nunez Community College has added new workshops to its existing schedule to aid community members in their post-Hurricane Ida recovery efforts.
The workshops will take place on the Nunez campus in Chalmette.
STEAM is located in the Skillshop (Room A143) in the Kane Building on La Fontaine Street.
The new workshops include MORTGAGE AND REAL ESTATE WORKSHOP on October 11, FLOORING 101 will be on October 23, TILING AND BACKSPLASH 101 will be offered on November 6, PAINTING 101 is November 13 and CEILING FANS AND OTHER FIXTURES will be November 20.
There is no cost to attend these workshops but capacity is limited.
