Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller in conjunction with the Rural Fire Administrator Dennis Crocker, and the local fire chiefs announced on Saturday that the parish has lifted the burn ban.
The ban was put into effect early last week after Hurricane Ida made landfall in Southeast Louisiana.
Effective Saturday, Sept. 11, the ban is no longer in effect for Tangipahoa Parish.
