
They Northshore Humane Society says they still have 60+ animals at their shelter without power or water.
As of yesterday their generator was not working, which was their only hope at being able to provide the animals with fans and properly clean the dogs’ kennels. Although their medical team is checking on the animals twice a day for heat stroke, they really need to get them out of the shelter.
Please consider helping in any way you can.
Temporary foster homes needed for large-breed dogs and/or cats still at shelter – please stop by at designated times below to see what animals are available for foster.
Donations of items: water, towels, sheets, blankets, dry dog and cat food (Purina Proplan if possible), wet kitten food, kitty litter.
Donations of heavy-duty extension cords for fans.
Monetary donations – without our community vet clinic being able to operate, funds will be significantly depleted.

TIMES/LOCATION: NHS Staff will be on-site daily 7-10 AM and 4-6 PM. Donations can be dropped off anytime at our gates. They are located at 20384 Harrison Ave. in Covington.
