
Louisiana State Police say they are searching for the driver involved in a crash that injured four people, including a child and an infant.
Troopers say they began investigating a hit-and-run crash around 1:00 a.m. Sunday on US 190 at the intersection of LA 445 in Tangipahoa Parish.
An initial investigation showed an unidentified vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto LA 445 and struck the left side of the victim’s vehicle. After striking the vehicle, the suspect briefly stopped before fleeing the scene.
The adult driver, as well as a child and infant passenger received minor injuries. An adult passenger sustained moderate injuries.
According to witness statements, troopers believe the identified vehicle may be a red, newer model Jeep Wrangler with after-market rims. The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front end. The suspect is described as a white female, possibly in her 30s or 40s with brown or blonde hair.
