Yesterday the Slidell Police SWAT team was deployed to Stone Creek Apartments in reference to an armed, barricaded subject.
After a two-hour stand-off and successful negotiations, the subject surrendered peacefully.
Authorities in Slidell maintained an active police presence while they continued their investigation but assured residents there was no longer an active threat and residents were allowed back into the complex shortly thereafter.
