
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office says they worked a fatal Hit & Run incident just after 7:00 a.m. yesterday when deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were notified of a body found on the side of Buddy Ellis Rd.
Sheriff Jason Ard said the deceased was a 22 year old white male.
They were attempting to notify next of kin but they reported the male was leaving work – off Juban Road – and headed home by bicycle just around 11:45 p.m. on May 9, 2021. He was traveling East on Buddy Ellis Road when it is believed he was struck by a car.
This car is believed to have driver’s side & front-end damage. If you live along that route, they’re asking you to please check your video surveillance equipment for any possible captured evidence.
