Biloxi Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich said we are challenged every day to make sense or put things together that just don’t make sense.
He was speaking to an audience of law enforcers, community leaders and others gathered outside the city’s public safety center during a somber Fallen Officers Ceremony that took place steps away from where Biloxi Police Officer Robert McKeithen was gunned down two years ago yesterday. Gilich, Biloxi Police Chief John Miller and Patrolman Reuben Sabio, speaking in a closing prayer, acknowledged the day-to-day contributions and sacrifices made by police officers and their families. Said Sabio in closing the brief ceremony: Time is short. Tell people you love them.
