
Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 999 new #COVID19 cases since Friday.
The total number of cases reported to the state is 449,827.
Of those cases, 714 were confirmed and 285 were probable.
97% of the cases reported were community spread. 3% of the cases were in congregate settings.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (32%) and ages 30 and 39 (26%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 25 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 10,241.
There were 308 COVID patients in hospitals and 44 required ventilators.
The Department is reporting an additional 103,298 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 2,255,300 doses, including 966,365 completed two-dose series.
