
The Northshore Community Foundation is seeking nominations for their Fourth Annual Dick Knight Award, in honor of the late Richard F. “Dick” Knight and in conjunction with Covington’s Annual Dick Knight Day on March 21st.
The $5,000 Award recognizes individuals for their commitment and service to the charitable, nonprofit sector in the four parish Northshore region. The spirit of the award is to recognize nonprofit staff who have significant tenure in service-based work and have a body of accomplishments that reflect success through diligence, resiliency, vision, and excellence.
To be eligible, the nominee must be a current staff member of a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization operating in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington and St. Helena Parishes. Community members can submit nominations of qualified candidates, as names of the nominators are not disclosed. Nominations must be submitted by April 9, 2021.
