
Congrats to Tangipahoa Parish School Board member Rose Dominguez, who has been sworn in as Vice President of the Louisiana School Board Association.
The board member, who represents the Ponchatoula, area previously served two years as a presidential appointee, as well as a member of the LSBA Board of Directors. LSBA provides leadership, service, and support for Louisiana’s 69 school districts. The organization provides training to keep public school board informed about important legislative matters, and they work closely with BESE, the State Superintendent of Education, and the Governor’s Office to advocate for educational curriculum needs and school funding.
