
Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 408 new #COVID19 cases.
The total number of cases reported to the state is 430,504. 99% of the cases reported were community spread. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (19%), 30 and 39 (17%) and 50 and 59 (17%) accounted for the largest portions of the new cases. 20 deaths were reported, bringing the current total death count to 9,628. There were 629 people in hospitals and 91 requiring ventilators.
The Department reported an additional 99,420 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 1,025,411 doses, including 368,146 completed two-dose series.
