Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,046 new #COVID19 cases. 99% of the cases were community spread. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (20%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (15%) accounted for 35% of the cases. There were 53 new deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 9,006. A pair of key numbers that continue to drift downward are hospitalizations, which currently stands at 1,386, and patients requiring ventilators, of which we have 180.
