Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health 4,122 new #COVID19 cases since Friday, a two-day total. Of the cases, 3,437 were confirmed cases and 685 were probable cases. The vast majority (97%) of these cases are tied to COVID spreading in communities, rather than congregate settings like nursing homes. There were 123 #COVID deaths reported to the state since 1/14, bringing the death toll to 8,203. There were 1,930 people in hospitals with 237 on ventilators.
