Dykes Lane west of Amite will be closed Tuesday, January 12, as crews change out three cross drains.Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will need to close the roadway just south of its intersection with LA 16 West. Qll work is scheduled on a weather permitting basis. The closure will be posted, and no traffic will be allowed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day. In Ponchatoula the intersection of US 51 and East Hoffman Road will be closed for six hours on Thursday, Jan. 14, as crews replace a cross drain at that location. Traffic will be restricted in that area from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.; however, motorists will be able to detour through the other end of East Hoffman, if they need access in that general area.
