Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 5,413 #COVID19 cases since Friday. Of those cases, 4,426 were confirmed cases and 987 were probable cases. 96% of the cases reported were community spread. 4% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (19%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (15%) accounted for 34% of the cases. There have been 40 deaths reported to the state since Friday. The current total death count is 7,873. There were 1,960 patients in hospitals with 225 on ventilators.
