A Covington businesswoman has been named a top 3 finalist in a $100,000 Grand Prize International competition honoring new and innovative ways to help cancer patients.
You Night Founder and CEO, Lisa McKenzie, was just named a top 3 finalist in Astella Oncology’s Fifth Annual C3Prize Contest — an international competition aimed at discovering new and innovative ways to help persons diagnosed with cancer. McKenzie is the Founder and CEO of You Night Empowering Events — an organization that offers year-round programs that help women emotionally cope after a cancer diagnosis. McKenzie’s idea is to offer an on-line story-crafting experience that helps cancer survivors articulate what they have been through to leave inspiring legacies and to provide hope and insight to others.
She is the only contestant representing the USA. The other two finalists are from Colombia and Nigeria.
