There is MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather this afternoon through Wednesday night. All of Southeast Louisiana and Southern Mississippi are in the affected area. However, the higher threat for an isolated tornado will be along and south of the I-10 corridor in coastal MS and Southeast LA. The National Weather Service says they are confident that there will be thunderstorms across the area and that a few will be strong to marginally severe. Wind gusts greater than 60 mph will be possible. Trees and powerlines could be damaged and lead to isolated/scattered power outages. Please be weather aware and stay tuned to Northshore Media for any updates.
