City of Slidell Flood Mitigation

The City of Slidell said they want to pursue every opportunity to mitigate properties in the city. Currently, they are preparing an application through the FMA (Flood Mitigation Assistance) grant program. This is a competitive program among applicants from across the country, and there is limited funding available. If the Slidell application is funded, they will be able to offer eligible Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) applicants as much as 100% of their eligible mitigation costs.
