Dept of Health Update

The Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,617 #COVID19 cases yesterday. Of those cases, 2,115 were confirmed cases and 502 were probable cases. 98% of the cases reported were community spread. 2% of the cases reported were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 and between the ages of 30 and 39 account for 35% of the cases. 50 deaths were reported, bringing the current total death count to 6,895. 1,597 people were in hospitals, which is just short of the summertime peak of 1,600, with 152 on ventilators.
