Dept of Health Update

The Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,429 #COVID19 cases yesterday. Of these cases, 1,775 were confirmed cases and 654 were probable cases. 96% of the cases were community spread. 4% of the cases were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 account for 18% of the cases. Of the tests reported, 27,933 were PCR tests and 4,151 were antigen tests. 45 deaths were reported, bringing the current total death count to 6,652. 1,516 people are in hospitals and 165 require ventilators.
