The lights are on in Griffith Park and Christmas Under the Stars kicked off this weekend. Visitors can see the lights anytime this Christmas season, every night from 6 to 9 pm through January 3rd. Some of the people who worked so hard to make this happen include Lori Gomez Art and Peggy Cromer’s Rip Roarin’ Rosies East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build teams. Special thanks to Keep Slidell Beautiful and the city’s departments of Cultural & Public Affairs, Public Operations and Parks and Recreation for turning Griffith Park into a winter wonderland.
