New Fire House for FD-1 in Slidell

In January 2021 the FD-1 Fire House will be demolished, and a new upgraded facility will be built. The old station was extremely outdated and needed extensive work. Chief Chris Kaufmann continues to provide leadership and vision for FD-1 as they modernize and innovate their facilities. This new house will provide modern innovative apparatus with designs that will keep the  citizens safe for many decades to come. Leadership is about vision, while managing your budget with transparency and accountability. Exciting news for Slidell and FD-1.
