Tangipahoa Schools are resuming normal district operations beginning with the committee meetings and board meeting scheduled for today, Tuesday, September 15th. Committee meetings begin at 5:15 PM and the School Board meeting will begin at 6 PM. PreK – 8th-grade traditional students will resume classes on campus on Wednesday, September 16th. Those PK-8th grade students who have chosen the full virtual option will resume classes online. Now that we are in Phase 3, 9th-12th grade students will begin coming to campus on an A/B staggered schedule.
This is the high school staggered schedule for this week:
Wednesday, September 16th – All 9-12 students are working online from home.
Thursday, September 17th Group A (A-K) will attend classes on campus.
Friday, September 18th Group B (L-Z) will attend classes on campus.
Beginning on September 21st, the high school weekly schedule will be as follows:
Monday & Tuesday Group A will attend classes on campus.
Wednesday Groups A & B Virtual Day – all high school students work online from home.
Thursday & Friday Group B will attend classes on campus.
9th-12th grade students that have chosen the full virtual option need to continue to check their email and log in to the virtual platform to engage in lessons and assignments from their teachers. The virtual curbside meal pickup schedule will resume Wednesday, September 16th at Sumner High, Independence High, and Hammond High.
