At a Louisiana House Education committee meeting, the plan to start high school football games soon took a step forward when the Louisiana High School Athletic Association announced it plans to allow high schools to play football beginning on Thursday, October 8th. The committee chairman said all sides are in agreement on the plan. The LHSAA board still has to approve the plan. Officials say they hope to be able to allow fans in the stands at 50 percent capacity at that time.
