New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell would not say definitively one way or another whether her administration will approve the New Orleans Saints’ plans to host fans at the Superdome on the September 27 game versus Green Bay. The mayor said the city’s priority is making sure public health isn’t negatively impacted by kids returning to classrooms in New Orleans, which at the earliest would be 13 days before that game. Cantrell indicated the time between when in-classroom learning returns and the game is not going to be enough to have the information she needs to sign off.
