The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office says a badly decomposed body found in Covington on Thursday show no obvious signs of trauma and both cause and manner of death remain undetermined. 46 YO Christopher Robin Jones of Greenlawn Dr., Slidell, was last seen on July 15. His decomposing remains were found by a utility crew at the dead end of E. Jesse Jones Road in Covington on Aug. 27. He was identified using tattoos and other unique identifiers, but an autopsy revealed no clear indicators of how Jones died. Remains have been turned over to the LSU FACES Lab. Samples have also been submitted for toxicology analysis.
