St Tammany Health System says due to continued fluctuations in COVID hospitalizations, they are once again adjusting the visitation policy. The adjusted visitation policy allows one visitor per patient per day with the following rules:
* Caregiver must be free of fever and symptoms to enter any STHS facility.
* Caregiver must arrive in and wear a face covering for the entire duration of the visit.
* Caregiver is not permitted on isolation units.
* Caregiver is expected to stay in the patient room or procedure waiting area; masked at all times.
* To reduce traffic in public areas, caregiver is encouraged to order in-room dining (for a small fee) but food may be purchased in the cafeteria or PJs Coffee Shop, if necessary.
* Caregiver must adhere to all policies including social distancing, mask-wearing and hand-washing.
