Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal says he recently requested DA Warren Montgomery review a ticket issued to a Washington Parish resident, an 18-year-old student who is putting herself through college, deserving of mercy and a 2nd chance. He said the District Attorney routinely amends such tickets to non-moving violations but his request for mercy was refused for purely political reasons. Seal said the District Attorney amends tickets for others all the time and if he says differently, then he is not telling the truth.
