The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,737 #COVID19 cases reported to the state since July 20, 2020. The total number of cases reported to the state is 96,583. The collection dates for most of these cases fall between July 11, and July 18. 91% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 30% of the cases reported were of individuals aged 29 and under. There have been 36 deaths reported to the state today. The current total death count is 3,498. 36 deaths represents the largest single-day increase of deaths since May 22. 1,527 are hospitalized, with 186 on vents.
